I have always been one to enjoy songs that touch me in the heart. This one touched me there. A lot of us have been in the position that we wished we could make a deal with God. Unfortunately it doesn't work that way. The lyrics are awesome!

I like the spacey, distant dissonance in the background. Especially in the very beginning when it goes a little out of key. A nice mood setter.

The guitar is tone is very fitting and very tasteful fills. Nice work!

The vocals have a good sense of pain and sorrow to them. Delivered very well!

The drums tone of the drums didn't set well with me. A little too subdued or something. Are you using brushes??

An awesome song in my opinion!

I am not a big God guy and to me it wasn't preachy at all.

Very melancholy vibe, has a "Sylvia's Mother" kind of sadness. That's a compliment, I love that tune!

I thought the vocs represented the desperation of the circumstance well (that's what I dig about the aforementioned Hook tune). Good lyrics, the playing was sweet, production value was killer. Not a fan of the thunder and such, but this is great tune, man.

Very nice job

Hi Max.....WELCOME GOOD TO HAVE YOU HERE .HOPE TO HEAR MORE FROM YOU.

This song is great .....in every aspect .

The only thing that threw me, is the singer making a deal with God ,to take him instead ....People do this out of desperation ,but God would never make that kind of a deal ....

You could keep it in there ,asking God to make a deal ... Deal or no deal LOL

No deal !.But an experience with God could occur ,and He lets the singer ,live too.

This is my take on this one.

As for the rest of the song ,the music /vocals all very good ,indeed .

Well, I think we have likely reached our threshold with this song at SOundclick..

it is my experience one can campaign a song to topp 20 in a few days, then it tapers off and goes down fast..

The only ones who seem to manage to hold ratings are the kids who have paid soundclick subscriptions.. but even then, it does them no good in practical application..

It's just fun stuff and has been a blast getting everyone slightly riled up.. remember, there is NO such thing as BAD publicity when it comes to getting plays.. *G*

She used to be signed to a Good band...but Motherhood took over but God she can sing...& thinks most the members on Click are Comedians or Clowns! really!

She hasn't laughed so mch since her old Granny Died! Well done for winding that lot up Max How about we met God on Mars for our next number?

Or we would wash away your sins but from America to England there just ain't enough water!
Well somethin like that it's a gas for sure!...stagg

You know when I first wrote that number I was gonna scrap it but todds wouldn't let me & insisted I keep it & finish the story she was pregnant at the time!...Oh well about the Name moving thing they say God works in mysterious ways...I wonder?

Also Max me & todds have left playschool or Kinder Garten 'about guitar.com coz it's so much grief it's now in the bin!...staggs

What a feedback kinda makes me a bit scared to write a song about God on Mars!...I guess if he does exist when the big bang happened he's everywhere on all planets & his own pad..called Heaven!...yeah?

If there is another song on tbat C.D. I sent Max.... play with that too.... re-cover it & say it's from us 'Music For The World!' not you re-covered my song coz it's ours yeah?...staggs

Something to think about no?

I have cool edit pro but all I've used that for is taking off scratches of multi-Beatle albums on some kinda file-wave a bit like mp3 but I got all the Beatles Albums on 1 Disk...also I have Cu-Base but not too sure of it yet especially that re-birth thing I don't understand protocols yet but I'm trying to get there Max!..

Yeah getting 'Music For the World well known is a Gas & yeah let the fun go on as Freddie Mercury would say..."The Show Must Go On!"....

Also we have the girls to sing for us too Max whenever.... BTW I've left About.com guitaqr me & todds have had enough of the childlike tatics over-there it's just like play-school!...God my own toddlers are more grown up!../.anyway like you say Max this is great fun! iI love it yeah...in about a month do you want me to write about God on Mars?...staggs

As for some unknown reason I can't seem to get along with folk at about so now also on todds rules the time has come to say Goodbye to About probably for good I don''t wanna get hurt feelings & certainly do not wanna upset anyone...

If H makes them all happy then it's wrong of me to interfere...however back to music if you still want to be part of our team I will be delighted but if other reasons bid you away I would be very sad Max, but understand, I'm not going to be brought into squabbles coz I love friendliness.... todds says there is nothing wrong with her way, your way, & my way of thiking Max, unless anyone wants to be controlling & we let that happen she says if we do that then we do not have our own idenity!!...clever lady my todds, oh well I am off to bed be back soon....staggs Laughing Laughing Cool Cool Laughing Laughing
