I could be the only person in the US who doesn't hate Cowel, as I have never seen American Idol.. (thats his exposure here in the states)..

I've seen clips, and I find his 'acting' a bit over done.. on the other hand you can't knock sucsess..
whatever the forumla is he has captured that makes people hate him, it certaily is not only profitable, but marketable and cash gererative..

Me myself, I hate negativity of any kind when it comes to ANYONE who wants to sing a song..

I would be HORRIBLE at his job.. I would be encouraging even the worst and demanding everyone gets another try..

Thats why I am a poor slob who will never be a judge.. *G*
